Through three generations of ownership by the Holman/Fleischner family, Scatico has been a vital part of thousands of "extended families" by providing the skills, values, friendships and memories that make traditional camping a special experience.
Scatico is a brother-sister camp with two campuses located at opposite ends of its 275 acres. The boys and girls camps have separate facilities including waterfronts, dining rooms and athletic fields. No public lands or roads run through the camp.
There are approximately 130 boys and 130 girls. The intimate size of the camper population contributes to Scatico's success. Groups are large enough for team sports at each age level, yet small enough so that every camper is an important member of the group.
Scatico has structured sessions, ensuring week-to-week continuity and allowing for the type of bonding and skill development that make families choose Scatico.
